Student Mentoring

Advanced PlacementĀ® Mentoring Program
nConnect's APĀ® Mentoring program brings real-world experience and expertise to students through tutoring, challenging and mentoring.

The goal is to help students see the relevance of, and encourage their success in, rigorous AP math and science classes.

In this program, small groups of students work during and/or after school with volunteers who use science and math every day in their professions. Mentors provide help in problem solving and contextualize student learning through real world examples.

Volunteers are continuously sought for school year AP/Small Group Mentoring program, which starts in September. Interested? Please click on the link on the bottom of this page for a flyer and the mentor position description. Or click here to go straight to the mentor application.
